When Does GTA 6 Come Out and on Which Platforms?

According to Rockstar Games, Grand Theft Auto VI launches on November 19, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The game was originally planned for fall 2025, then moved to May 2026 and finally to November 2026. The November 19 date was locked in when pre-orders went live on June 25, 2026.

Is GTA 6 coming to PC?

How does the free month of GTA+ work?

Digital pre-orders on PlayStation Store or Microsoft Store come with one month of GTA+. It can be redeemed once per platform account and must be activated before its expiry date. After the free month, the membership renews monthly at the regular price until you cancel, so turn off auto-renew if you do not want to keep it.

GTA 6 Pre-Load Date and the Physical Edition

Digital pre-orders can start pre-loading on November 12, 2026, a week before launch, so the game is ready to play the moment it unlocks on November 19. Rockstar has not announced a single global unlock time, so the exact start may differ by region.

Physical copies also hit shelves on November 12, but there is no disc in the box. The physical edition contains a download code, which means you still need an internet connection and enough free storage. Rockstar has not said whether a disc-based edition will follow.
