Short answer: The PlayStation Plus monthly games for November 2026 are Dead Island 2 (PS5, PS4), Tomb Raider IV–VI Remastered (PS5, PS4) and Monster Train 2 (PS5 only). Essential, Extra and Premium/Deluxe members can add them to their library from Tuesday, November 3 until Monday, November 30, 2026. The October lineup of F1 25, Hunt: Showdown 1896 and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 stays claimable until November 2.
Sony revealed the November PlayStation Plus monthly games on October 28 through the official PlayStation Blog. This month's lineup covers three very different moods: a gory co-op zombie brawler, a remastered trilogy of classic Lara Croft adventures and a replayable deckbuilder that fits into short gaming sessions.
This guide was checked on October 30, 2026 against the PlayStation Blog announcement and lineup coverage from the gaming press. Below you will find what each game offers, which consoles it runs on, the claim deadlines and what to keep in mind so your membership does not lapse mid-month.

Dead Island 2: Surviving HELL-A
Dead Island 2 is an open-world action RPG set in a zombie-infested Los Angeles, nicknamed HELL-A. Its main draw is the melee combat: blunt and bladed weapons leave detailed damage on enemies, and you can upgrade gear with mods. Guns are available too, but the game is built around close-quarters fights.
Does Dead Island 2 have co-op?
Yes. According to Sony's announcement, the game supports online co-op for up to three players. Since online multiplayer already requires PlayStation Plus, a group of friends who all claim the monthly game can team up at no extra cost.
Tomb Raider IV–VI Remastered: The Darkness Trilogy Returns
This collection bundles three classic entries known as the Darkness Trilogy: Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation, Tomb Raider: Chronicles and Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness. Gameplay focuses on exploration, environmental puzzles, traps and platforming.
Can you play with the original graphics?
Yes. You can switch between the original polygonal models and the remastered visuals at any time, which makes the package appealing both to newcomers and to long-time fans chasing nostalgia.
Monster Train 2: Deckbuilding Between Heaven and Hell
Monster Train 2 is a single-player deckbuilding roguelite. You lead clans of former angels and demons through Hell, Heaven and the Abyss to defeat the Titans who have taken over Heaven. The announcement highlights five new clans and battles fought across the train's three vertical floors.
Is Monster Train 2 available on PS4?
No. Sony lists Monster Train 2 for PS5 only in the November 2026 lineup. PS4 owners can still claim Dead Island 2 and Tomb Raider IV–VI Remastered.
Which Game Should You Start With?
- Playing with friends: Dead Island 2 is the natural pick thanks to three-player online co-op.
- Story and exploration: Tomb Raider IV–VI Remastered offers three full games, making it the longest-lasting option this month.
- Short sessions: Each Monster Train 2 run stands on its own, so it fits neatly into a 30 to 60 minute break.
We recommend claiming all three from November 3 even if you do not plan to play them right away. Claimed games stay in your library and remain playable for as long as your membership is active.
October Deadline and Games Leaving in November
Monday, November 2, 2026 is the last day to add October's monthly games, F1 25, Hunt: Showdown 1896 and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2, to your library. After that date they can no longer be claimed for free.
Several titles are also leaving the Extra and Premium catalog this month. Check our list of games leaving PS Plus in November 2026 before they disappear, and if you want couch co-op ideas for the weekend, see our best PS5 split-screen games roundup.
How to Claim PS Plus Monthly Games
You do not need to download a monthly game to keep it; adding it to your library is enough. You can then download and play it later, as long as your membership is active.
- On PS5: Open the PlayStation Plus hub or the PlayStation Plus tab in PlayStation Store, pick the game from the monthly games list and select "Add to Library".
- On PS4: Open the PlayStation Plus section in PlayStation Store, select the game and add it. Monster Train 2 will not appear there because it is a PS5-only offer.
- On web or mobile: Sign in to the PlayStation Store website or the PlayStation App and add the games to your library. This is the easiest way to beat the deadline when you are away from your console.
Sony usually announces the monthly games on the last Wednesday of the month, and they unlock on the first Tuesday of the following month. The November lineup followed that rhythm, so the December 2026 games can be expected around the last Wednesday of November; watch the official PlayStation Blog for confirmation.
Can Essential, Extra and Premium Members Claim Them?
Monthly games are part of the Essential tier. Extra and Premium (Deluxe in some regions) include every Essential benefit, so members on those tiers can claim the November games in exactly the same way. Keep in mind that monthly games stay playable only while your membership is active. If it expires, the games remain in your library but stay locked until you subscribe again.
Keeping Your PS Plus Membership Active
November is a busy month on PlayStation, with Modern Warfare 4 Season 1 arriving on November 6 and many players preparing for the GTA 6 pre-order. When you renew PS Plus or shop on PlayStation Store with a wallet code, make sure the code matches your account's region, because PSN codes only work on accounts from the same region.
You can top up your PSN wallet for a PS Plus renewal or new purchases with a digital code from the Epinpay PlayStation gift card page and redeem it on your account within minutes.
