Xbox Game Pass Late October 2026: Games Coming and Leaving

Late October is a busy window for Game Pass. Microsoft's second October wave mixes a big-budget RPG with Halloween-friendly horror, while a batch of well-known titles reaches the end of its licence. If you are halfway through one of the departing games, you have days rather than weeks left.

This guide was checked on October 26, 2026 against the lists published by Pure Xbox, Windows Report and Gaming Amigos. Tier availability can change after publication, so confirm each game in the Xbox app before planning your week.

New Xbox Game Pass Games: October 21 – November 3, 2026

The table below shows every addition in the second October wave, with the platforms and tiers reported by Pure Xbox. "PC" means PC Game Pass; "Premium" is the mid-tier plan.

The Biggest Additions Worth Your Time

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade (October 29)

The headline arrival. Intergrade is the enhanced version of Square Enix's remake and includes the Yuffie episode, INTERmission. It lands on console, PC and cloud on the same day, and Pure Xbox lists it for Ultimate, PC Game Pass and Premium members, so most subscribers can play it.

The Séance of Blake Manor (October 27)

A supernatural detective mystery set in a haunted Irish hotel, arriving just before Halloween. It suits players who prefer investigation and dialogue over combat.

Mouthwashing and Terrible Lizards (October 29)

Mouthwashing is a short, story-driven psychological horror game that can be finished in one or two evenings. Terrible Lizards joins Game Pass on its launch day. If you want more Halloween picks across platforms, our Steam Scream Fest 2026 guide covers the PC side.

Games Leaving Xbox Game Pass on October 31, 2026

Pure Xbox and Gaming Amigos list nine departures for October 31; Windows Report's earlier list had eight, before Grim Fandango Remastered was added in an October 20 update. All of them currently run on console, PC and cloud.

• LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga: The best-known title on the list and a strong co-op pick.
• Deep Rock Galactic: Four-player co-op mining shooter and one of the service's most-played co-op games.
• Wartales: Open-world tactical RPG that needs a long run to see properly.
• Day of the Tentacle Remastered, Full Throttle Remastered and Grim Fandango Remastered: Three Double Fine classics leaving together, which Pure Xbox links to the studio becoming independent again.
• Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris: Co-op action puzzler.
• Dead Static Drive and Wildgate: The remaining two departures.

Football Manager 26 leaves on November 10

Gaming Amigos reports that Football Manager 26 (PC) and Football Manager 26 Console Edition leave on November 10, the same period in which the next entry in the series is expected. If you are mid-season, plan to wrap up before then.

How to Check Leaving Dates in the Xbox App

Microsoft flags departing games inside the service, so you do not have to rely on news lists alone.

• On console: Open the Game Pass section from the home screen and scroll to the "Leaving soon" row. Each game page also shows the final day it is available.
• On PC: In the Xbox app, open Game Pass and look for the "Leaving soon" collection, or search for the game and check its store page.
• On mobile: The Xbox mobile app lists the same collection and lets you queue downloads to your console remotely.

Games usually remain playable until the end of the listed day in your region, but it is safer to finish anything important a day early.

What Happens to Your Saves and Achievements?

• Saves: Cloud saves stay linked to your Xbox account. Buy the game later and you continue where you left off.
• Achievements: Anything you unlocked remains on your profile.
• Purchased DLC: Add-ons you bought stay on your account but need the base game to work.
• Installed files: The game stays installed but will not launch without a licence, so delete it to free up space.

Should You Buy a Leaving Game Before October 31?

According to Pure Xbox and Windows Report, most departing titles are discounted by at least 20% for members until they leave. That discount only applies while the game is still in Game Pass, so if you plan to keep playing, buying before October 31 is usually cheaper. Check the store page for each game, because not every title has the same deal.

For a rotating set of free trials outside Game Pass, see our Xbox Free Play Days guide. PlayStation players can compare with the PlayStation Plus October 2026 catalog.

Renewing Game Pass or Buying the Games You Want to Keep

Whether you want to keep your subscription running or buy a departing game at its member discount, you will need balance on your Microsoft account. You can compare membership options in the Epinpay Xbox Game Pass category. Make sure the code region matches the region of your Microsoft account before you buy.
