Murder Mystery 2 Codes 2026: Current and Expired MM2 Codes

Murder Mystery 2, commonly shortened to MM2, is a social-deduction survival experience on Roblox. Each round assigns players to Innocent, Sheriff or Murderer roles, while collectible knives, guns and seasonal items create a long-term inventory chase. Promotional codes historically added free cosmetic rewards to that collection, but releases have become extremely rare.

This current MM2 codes guide separates active offers from expired codes, explains the correct in-game redemption process, and shows how to verify a claim before exposing your account to a fake site. The status is date-stamped because code availability can change without warning.

Active Murder Mystery 2 Codes

“No active codes” does not mean MM2 has closed its code feature. The EnterCode box remains part of the Inventory interface. It means that none of the publicly known strings currently awards an item. A page that labels an old code as working without showing a recent, reproducible redemption should not be treated as proof.

The official Roblox experience description directs players to Nikilis’s profile and social pages for update news and free knife codes. That makes the creator’s linked channels the best starting point for verification. There is no fixed monthly schedule, and an update or holiday does not guarantee a code.

All Confirmed Expired MM2 Codes

The following legacy codes and rewards are well documented, but they are included for reference only. They should not redeem in the current version of the game.

Most historical rewards were cosmetic knives, while HW2017 awarded a pet. The list is useful for identifying recycled claims: if a video promotes COMB4T2 or PR1SM as a newly released code, it is presenting old information as current.

How to Redeem a Murder Mystery 2 Code

1. Open the official Murder Mystery 2 experience on Roblox and enter the lobby.
2. Select Inventory from the left side of the screen.
3. Find the EnterCode field in the lower-right area of the inventory window.
4. Type or paste the code exactly as the developer published it.
5. Select Redeem, then inspect your inventory for the reward.

This process happens inside MM2. It is separate from redeeming a Roblox gift card at Roblox.com/redeem. An MM2 promotional code awards a specific in-experience item; a Roblox gift-card code adds Roblox Credit or Robux according to the product and Roblox redemption flow. Entering one type of code in the other box will fail.

Why Is an MM2 Code Not Working?

• It expired: every code in the legacy table is inactive, regardless of what an undated list claims.
• The characters are wrong: MM2 codes deliberately mix letters and numbers, such as zero and O or one and I. Copy the exact string.
• Capitalization differs: preserve the published uppercase format instead of assuming the entry is case-insensitive.
• You already claimed it: promotional codes are generally limited to one redemption per account.
• The claim is fabricated: edited videos and copied lists can present fake codes as new releases.
• The client has not updated: after a genuinely new release, rejoin a current server before trying again.

If a newly announced code fails, confirm the spelling against the creator’s original post, restart the experience and retry once. Repeatedly submitting random variations will not make an expired code valid.

Where to Find New MM2 Codes

Start from the official Murder Mystery 2 page on Roblox. The experience identifies Nikilis as its creator and tells players to check the creator profile for official pages and code news. Follow only links reached from that verified profile or established MM2 community pages rather than accounts with look-alike names.

When an update arrives, check the experience description, Nikilis’s linked social channels and official community announcements. Compare the date and wording across more than one reliable source. A credible code report should provide the exact string, the reward and a recent test date—not merely a thumbnail saying “all working.”

Codes are not the only way to expand an MM2 inventory. Normal play awards opportunities to collect currency and event rewards, while the game also supports item trading. Treat every trade as final, verify the exact items in the confirmation window and never move a trade to a site that requests your Roblox session cookie or account credentials.

How to Avoid Fake Codes and Generators

No legitimate MM2 code generator needs your password. A promotional code is created and enabled by the experience developer; an outside website cannot manufacture a valid one. Leave immediately if a page asks for your Roblox password, email code, two-step verification code, browser cookie, extension installation or a payment to “unlock” a free code.

• Open Murder Mystery 2 from its verified Roblox experience page.
• Use the in-game EnterCode field for MM2 promotional strings.
• Use Roblox.com/redeem in a browser for genuine Roblox gift cards.
• Enable two-step verification and keep recovery details private.
• Report impersonation, phishing and suspicious links through Roblox’s tools.
